Minimum requirement for promotion from the Junior Academy to the Senior Academy.

11 units of credit
TAP score of 8.8 in Reading and Mathematics
Recommendation of high school advisory and principal
Passing grade (minimum of 50%) on mandated Chicago Academic Standard Exams
Fewer than 20 days of unexcused absence during each year including absence caused by out-of-school suspension
