CURIE HIGH SCHOOL BUSINESS & FINANCE and IT ACADEMIES
Sherry P. King, Department Chairperson

Curie High School's Career and Technical Education Programs offer rich, robust, rigorous coursework through the IT* and Business and Finance Academies. Students enrolled in these programs have the opportunity to become certified in their major area of specialization, enjoy college and career related workshops, participate in internships, field experiences, and the annual CTE Capstone Fair where they meet and network with industry professionals. CTE students are offered college readiness support geared toward academic achievement during their three-years in the program, working closely with teachers, counselors and others. Millions of dollars in scholarships are awarded to CTE students each year. In addition, students complete coursework in state of the art labs and utilize software programs aligned to industry standards. These are only a few of the opportunities available to students in the CTE programs at Curie High School.
