Climate Classification; Past, Present and Future Climates of the
World; El Nino; Global Warming. The focus of the class will be
to use simple principles of physics and real-time observations to
understand the complex interaction of the Earth's atmosphere with the
lithosphere and biosphere. Labs will be conducted regularly
using data collected from Curie's Weather Net station and from
individual student observations. Students will learn the process
of forecasting and interpreting a wide variety of weather and climatic
data. |
