This course offers students at Curie the opportunity develop a visual language when examining artworks from a historical, social, political, technical, and personal context. Through this process, students gain a general knowledge, understanding, and appreciation for art made through a variety of media from a diverse range of artists. In doing so, students will also explore the material processes and techniques in order to discover and work themselves into the creation and critical analysis of the form.
