In collaboration with CNN International's #MYFREEDOMDAY, The Dance Department of Curie High School will be inviting classes to see their Human Trafficking Awareness Production during 2nd and 5th period. Teachers can sign up by contacting Ms.Wilson or Ms.Simonne. (These are not open to the public)
The performance is an awareness raising initiative to fight human trafficking and its impact on society. We hope to encourage involvement and inspire action to help stop human trafficking and allow people to show solidarity with the victims. The show includes performance art, visual art, song, dance, spoken word and drama. Some of the information in the show is challenging. We want to give students the ability to take charge of their own health and learning.
