“Hear Our Voices” has been created and curated by the GAC and its teacher, Valerie Xanos and our SPACE resident artist, Andres L. Hernandez. The GAC has been a long time partner in the MCA’s SPACE program who has provided support in our endeavors over the past 6 years.

“Hear Our Voices” is comprised of 4 community-engaged installation artworks addressing issues of unity, sexual harassment, immigration inequality, and health care access. We have been inspired by visiting artists such as William Estrada, Jeeyun Lee, and Joseph Josue Mora among many other contemporary artists and activists.
