About Ms. Doyle
About me
I am a new teacher, and I decided to become an English teacher because I want to empower students with literacy and encourage an appreciation for reading.
I enjoy being able to mentor my students and share their passions and ideas
I graduated from UIC in December 2021, and from Oak Forest High School (in the south suburbs) in 2016
I spend my free time reading novels as well as comic books, I like to draw, I watch anime, and I play video games on Nintendo Switch.

Resources I use in class
I like to have students do a lot of journaling about the class content and themselves. I have the students create a music playlist at the beginning of the year that we listen to while we get work done in class, I use Lexia to improve literacy skills in Reading in the Language Arts.
